Hi, I'm Fanglin Han
I’m the founder of The Bridge Sourcing. Originally from China and based in the UK since 2019, I’ve built and run my own product brands sourced from China, so I understand both sides: the factory and the UK customer.

What does a China sourcing agent do?
A sourcing agent finds suitable manufacturers in China, negotiates prices, manages samples, follows production, checks quality and coordinates shipping. You get one point of contact instead of managing several overseas suppliers yourself.
Why use a UK-based sourcing agent?
You deal with someone in your own time zone who understands what UK customers expect, while our team in China handles the factory side. That means clearer communication, fewer misunderstandings and someone accountable here in the UK.
How much does your sourcing service cost?
Every project is different, so we quote once we have reviewed your brief. Our quotes are usually all-inclusive: one clear price that covers the product and our sourcing and project management, with samples and shipping shown so you know exactly what you are paying for. If you prefer a different pricing structure, we are happy to discuss it. Any development costs for a brand-new product are always agreed with you up front.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
MOQs are set by each factory and depend on the product, materials and level of customisation. If you are testing a new product, we look for suppliers who can accept smaller first orders.
Can I get samples before placing a bulk order?
Yes. We always recommend samples before bulk production. We check them against your specification and only move to production once you have approved the sample.
How do you check product quality?
We agree a clear specification with the factory, check samples and follow production closely. Our team in China carries out quality checks before goods are packed and shipped, and we share photos and updates with you.
How long does sourcing from China take?
Samples usually take one to two weeks. Production time depends on your order quantity and the processes involved, and typically takes a few more weeks, followed by shipping by air or sea. Simple custom items can be much faster: we have delivered 3D logo trims on a one-week lead time.
Do you handle shipping and import to the UK?
Yes. We coordinate packaging and shipping to your UK address, and can quote door-to-door with customs clearance, import duty and import VAT included, so the price you see is the price you pay. Typical options are air freight (around 2 weeks), road freight (around 30 days) and sea freight (around 2 months), depending on the product. If you’d prefer to import under your own EORI number, just let us know and we’ll talk you through the options.
What types of products can you source?
We regularly source custom garment accessories and trims, own-brand clothing, custom toys such as squishies, promotional products, packaging and commercial products. If your product is not listed, send us your brief and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
Will my product idea be kept confidential?
Yes. We treat every brief as confidential and can put a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) in place with you and with the manufacturers we approach.
